We used research to innovate Fitbit POP and inspire in-store purchases
Whenever Fitbit launch a new smartwatch or tracker, their estate of fixtures and displays needs to be updated across retailers. We handle Fitbit’s EMEA updates and refreshes, creating hundreds of pieces of artwork translated into many different languages.
We create a hero design and take-to-market look book, that we then cascade across the many different POP and POS formats. We provide Fitbit with a full 360 service, so take care of everything from concept and design to artwork and delivery, often working to impossibly tight deadlines.
But we don’t just create, we innovate. We have worked with key retailers to create bespoke fixtures that bring Fitbit’s product range to life for shoppers. And we’ve carried out extensive shopper research to truly understand how people shop, and what they need from the experience to turn a search into a sale. One piece of research helped us revolutionise the in-store wearables category by developing technology that allowed shoppers to try on a real product at-shelf, without the product getting misplaced, stolen or damaged. After an initial trial, we worked with suppliers and retailers to roll the technology out across EMEA.
The Outcome
By combining research into our creativity, we were about to refine and perfect our POP designs. Not an inch of space was wasted, as we used imagery, iconography, copy call-outs and infographics to communicate the right information in the right way. Our approach was regarded as best-practice, and used to inspire and inform all product launches and refreshes.
