From an unknown brand in the UK to page one of Amazon search
An established heritage brand on home soil, Pomp & Co had little brand awareness in the UK, which made their vision to launch on Amazon in the UK challenging. So we adopted a dual strategy approach. Firstly, we created best-in-class content for Amazon product and A+ pages, mixing product, lifestyle, and brand imagery to bolster Pomp & Co’s premium credentials. And following an extensive SEO audit, we crafted keyword-centric Amazon SEO copy that would engage shoppers and work with Amazon’s algorithms to drive organic sales.
But content was only half of our approach. We also created an Amazon Media strategy combining search and display retargeting media to drive brand awareness. Going live in October 2021, we helped the brand achieve sales on their first day – something relatively unheard of for a new brand on a new platform in a new market. For three months, we tested different strategies and campaigns, learning and adapting after each phase and increasing sales month on month.
The Outcome
By combining engaging Amazon content with comprehensive Amazon PPC strategies, we’ve created a blueprint for how to launch a new product on Amazon. It delivered outstanding results for Pomp & Co, seeing their hair cream product reached page 1 of search for ‘hair cream for men,’ organically and page 2 for their pomade. And this from an unknown brand making it’s Amazon debut in the UK!
